Clara Barton Therapy Services and Laundry Facility Expansion
Clara Barton Hospital and Foundation have embarked on an exhilarating journey—one guaranteed to bring new and exciting things to Hoisington and the surrounding communities. Clara Barton is expanding. The Therapy Services department has outgrown its current space and the time has come to add on to the Hospital, allowing the department to grow even more. Our current Therapy Service department is housed in approximately 1,250 square feet—the size of an average two bedroom home. Imagine having 25-30 people in your home every day, not to mention caregivers, visitors, and, of course, your family of nine providers. The new Therapy Services department will be 3,454 square feet, including treatment rooms, physical therapy gym, and occupational therapy kitchen and bathroom. Laundry Services are being brought in-house, saving the Hospital an estimated $250,000 a year, while adding additional employee(s). The expansion project will be funded by the “Complete the Dream… Continue the Vision” capital campaign with grants, tax credits, and community contributions. We look forward to sharing results and other great news in the future. Keep checking back here or go to our Facebook page or Twitter feed for updates!
