Clara Barton Hospital Foundation supports the outstanding medical services and programs of Clara Barton Medical Center. All donations are fully tax-deductible. The nonprofit Foundation is dedicated to fund-raising efforts on behalf of Clara Barton Medical Center, which has achieved a reputation as a medical facility with the finest Doctors, PA’s and staff, as well as an array of specialty care services and a focus on wellness.
Since its founding in 1950, the hospital has been fulfilling its mission to provide compassionate, exemplary health care services that are responsive to the ever-changing needs of our community. What began years ago has evolved into a beacon of health care excellence.
As a nonprofit organization, Clara Barton Medical Center relies on the generosity of friends within our walls and within the communities we serve to uphold our exceptional standard of care. The Foundation is a separate organization established to conduct fund-raising activities for the sole benefit of the hospital and clinics, and to manage and allocate donations to the Clara Barton organization in accordance with donor wishes. Over the years, many caring individuals, corporations and foundations have played a significant role in bringing new medical technologies, expanded facilities and enhanced patient care initiatives to our community.
The Clara Barton Hospital Foundation is a not-for-profit corporation with membership open to the public. The Foundation was founded in 1990 and has as its mission statement:
“The Mission of the Clara Barton Foundation is to secure and to expend financial aid to Clara Barton Hospital and to promote the general health and welfare of the public through support of education, training, and research programs.”
