Why I came to the Hoisington/Central Kansas area
• I grew up just down the road in Claflin so for me this was coming home. I had such a great experience growing up here and I had so much support from he entire community. The people of Barton county helped shape the person I am today and I am honored to come back and serve them.
What I enjoy most about this area
• Without a doubt what I like most is the people. This area is filled with kind and genuine people that help each other like neighbors. I grew up here and didn’t realize how special this place was until I moved away for school. I am so happy to be back and part of this community again.
About my family
• My brother P.J. is my co-surgeon here at CBH. My parents Pat and Pam still live in Claflin in the house we grew up in. My dad is teacher, coach and athletic director at Central Plains and my mom is the school nurse. My brother Corey works for Cargill in Wichita and my sister Jackie is opening a fitness center in Springfield, MO.
Hobbies
• I enjoy reading, road/gravel biking, mountain biking, hiking, and traveling.
Most rewarding part about being a provider
• Getting to know the patients and having the opportunity to support them through tough times and celebrate with them in good times. They let you into their lives and put so much trust in you. It is humbling and rewarding.
