Why I came to the Hoisington/Central Kansas area
• I love small communities because of the hard-working and resourceful people. I want to see these towns thrive for many more generations. I was raised to care for my home and neighbors, so that’s why I’m here.

What I enjoy most about this area
• I love the open pasture and sky – especially at sunrise and sunset. The scenery has always been beautiful to me. Also, the history of every small community. Driving down the middle of a downtown area, you can see historical buildings made new or family businesses that have stood the test of time. There’s usually a story behind every spot in town.

About my family
• My husband, Michael, and I live in Russell with our son and daughter. We are both lifelong Russell County residents and it’s a joy to raise our children doing many of the same things we did and showing them all our favorite spots. Making memories together is a huge priority for us, along with our large extended families that live near and far.

Hobbies
• Camping, boating, and kayaking at Lake Wilson, traveling, cooking, listening to music and podcasts, and spending time with family and friends.

Most rewarding part about working in the medical field
• Getting to know people on a personal level and building a trusting relationship is such a privilege and delight.

Additional Certificates
• I have a passion for supporting women and families through the perinatal period (pre and post-pregnancy) and have completed the certificate courses with Perinatal Support International.

Interesting fact about me
• I was a recreational and competitive dancer for 15 years, with my least year as a Tiger Deb at FHSU. I have also coached, taught, and choreographed.
